Operations Manager
$70k - $75k with potential for bonus
What we are looking for...
Thrive Biotech Farm, a recent startup focusing in the Agriculture (Marijuana/Hemp) industry is currently seeking a qualified candidate to serve as Operations Manager. This person will have the sole responsibility for overseeing and executing all levels of projects. They will provide operational oversight for program operations, including but not limited to legal compliance, recruiting, hiring, project deployment, procurement, and logistical support. The duties and responsibilities listed herein are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive, and may
change
as needed.
● The ability to make deadlines
● Respond effectively to all forms of communication via email and phone
● Local traveling required. May progress to domestic traveling in the future.
● Ability to work and problem-solve independently
● Accountable for day-to-day programmatic and administrative tasks and oversees the various
functional areas, such as responsible for conveying upper management’s instructions and
opinions as well as drafting files and taking notes for meetings.
● Prepares and provides high-quality reports to management on a monthly and quarterly basis.
SKILLS:
● Organized, meticulous, analytical, resourceful, and creative problem solver is a must
● Familiarity with government licensing processes and regulations
● Experience with short and long term project execution
● Must be able to work effectively under pressure and with deadlines
● Ability to manage workloads effectively and prioritize tasks based on considerations of safety and mission importance
● Demonstrated ability to develop solutions to problems of unusual complexity which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and ability to innovate.
● Proficient computer skills in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Knowledge of online marketing bonus
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Bachelor’s degree preferred
● Minimum of 3 year of progressive project management experience on small to large-scale
projects
● Able to work independently with minimal supervision
● Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and written in both English and Mandarin,
(Cantonese and Spanish as a bonus)
● Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
● Must have valid driver’s license
● Must have reliable transportation for local travel
